Mission Statement

The mission statement of S.A.V.E., is to empower low income individuals, veterans and others with special needs in East New York and surrounding neighborhoods to be self-sufficient through creation and preservation of healthy business,

quality jobs, housing and education.

Vision Statement:

We envision S.A.V.E., to be a catalyst for positive change in the creation of economic wealth for East New York. Through our efforts, we intend that East New York and its neighbors will become known as a good place to live and raise families, a good place to business, a place where there is a culture that values, mentors and inspires business and institutions to invest here, and provide a good work place for their employees.

We envision that, through our efforts, East New York and its neighbors will become known through Kings County as a destination location for business where their potential can be cultivated and realized. We want to create an atmosphere where our platform businesses can thrive, expand, and create a synergistic attraction to other businesses and institutions that are like-minded.

Our Targets Are:

Financial budgeting and credit repair workshops.  Education and counseling for first-time home buyers and the opportunity for home ownership through affordable housing.

Counseling and assistance with affordable rental housing for

low-to-moderate income families. Provide housing, transportation, and substance abuse recovery for veterans, addicts, those affected by domestic violence and offenders being released from prison.

Transitional housing and support for men and women whose lives

have been impacted by crime.

Provide low income housing for our veterans.

Assistance with employment opportunities and start up and growth for entrepreneurship.

Educational classes in the community and economic development.

Provide youth with a safe environment to learn life skills, develop 

self-esteem and to build strong family and community ties.

Improve health and well-being of individuals in the community.

Employ a holistic approach in moving individuals towards

self-sufficiency.

 Create a continuum of innovative public/private partnership to 

 maximize the use of community resources.
